Convert AVI to non-standard MPEG-2

Requires Windows Media Player

Should you wish to create an MPEG-2 movie that does not follow the SVCD or DVD standards you can remove the check from the option labeled "Use MPEG Presets". Please note that changing any preset parameter other than to encode for highest quality may prevent your CD or DVD burning application from accepting the output file. The height and width of DVD is fixed so if you want to change those be sure to select SVCD.

If you cannot see a movie below, click the button to view a Windows Media Movie in a new window that demonstrates how to convert an AVI movie to MPEG-2 with non-standard parameters.
